CONSENT FOR RECORDING & FERPA COMPLIANCE: The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect student records in educational institutions receiving funds from the U.S. Department of Education. Videos of classroom observations are considered student records and are subject to FERPA regulations, unless students cannot be identified in the video, such as through anonymization features of a video-sharing platform. Consent from parents or eligible students, obtained through an opt-out or opt-in process, is required before recording videos of classroom instruction where students are present. If students are identifiable, parents or eligible students have the right to request access to related videos. The Client is responsible for obtaining consent forms from the guardians of students participating in classes taught by teachers coached by Mutual Learning, LLC, regarding the recording of students."

All recordings of classroom instruction are kept private. All recordings of classroom instruction will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessed by Mutual Learning, LLC personnel, except in extraordinary circumstances, such as: For criminal investigations or matters deemed sufficiently serious by the Program Manager. Upon parental request to view a video observation in accordance with FERPA. In cases where an instructional coach from Mutual Learning, LLC suspects child abuse or neglect, they are required to report it to the Program Manager.

Client's Responsibility - You recognize that regulations, policies or guidelines established by your local education agency, educational institution or employer may affect you, and you must adhere to them.
